The Docy WordPress theme is a solid choice for knowledge hubs, and I’ve seen plenty of sites use it well. That said, you may sometimes run into display inconsistencies in the navigation bar or header, especially when custom action buttons and popups are involved. In this post, I’m going to walk through a known issue where the Docy navbar does not show custom action buttons consistently across all pages, and share the recommended fix from the development team.
Some users have reported that action buttons added to the navbar or header don’t appear the same way across different parts of the site, like the Blog, Events, or Engage pages. These buttons are often set up to open popup forms, so when they behave inconsistently, it can create a frustrating experience for visitors and make the header feel less reliable overall.
The Docy support team has recognized this navbar action button behavior as a known issue. The good news is that a fix has already been prepared and is included in the latest theme update. In other words, you shouldn’t need to make any complicated site-specific changes—updating the theme should take care of the problem.
Navbar inconsistencies can definitely get in the way of a smooth user experience, but the Docy development team continues to address these kinds of issues through theme updates. From my side, the simplest path is usually to stay on the latest version of the theme and use the official support channels when needed. That combination goes a long way toward keeping your navigation clean, consistent, and professional.
